Clare and Andrew’s wedding at Snake River Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming was a dream from start to finish, with their ceremony set in the iconic Aspen Grove and portraits throughout the stunning Johnson 40 meadow. Planned beautifully by Wild Rose JH with catering by Provisions, this celebration became a major milestone for my studio: my first wedding photographed and filmed by a four-person team, combining medium format film, 35mm film, and digital into one cohesive story. For couples searching for Snake River Ranch weddings, Jackson Hole wedding photography, or hybrid film + digital coverage, this day is the perfect example of how multiple formats and a skilled team can bring a wedding story to life.

Clare and Andrew’s wedding at Snake River Ranch was a BIG moment for me — and not just because the day itself was stunning (it absolutely was). It marked a milestone in my business and in the way I approach wedding days as both an artist and a director.
The setting couldn’t have been more iconic: the Johnson 40 field, that wide-open Wyoming sky, and the ceremony tucked inside the Aspen Grove — one of my favorite pockets of Snake River Ranch. Add in planning by Ashley from Wild Rose JH and catering + late night eats by Provisions, and it was the kind of day that just flowed effortlessly.
But here’s what made this wedding huge for me:
It was my first ever FOUR-person team for combined photography + videography.
My associate shooters, my video team, myself — all working in sync, all moving with intention, all capturing different layers of the day.
And it worked.
It worked beautifully.
This was also one of the rare weddings where I shot medium format film, 35mm film, and digital, all woven together to tell one story. Film gives me that nostalgic, romantic texture I live for, and digital lets me move fast and capture the moments that unfold quickly. Together, it feels like a full sensory experience — depth, soul, clarity, emotion.
But the real takeaway from this wedding?
It all comes down to leading well, planning well, and trusting the team you’ve built.
On a wedding day, especially one with moving parts and multiple shooters, being a director is just as important as being an artist. You have to think ahead, anticipate light, communicate clearly, and stay three steps ahead of the timeline. You also have to let go — because you handpicked your team for a reason.
And on this day, watching everyone move seamlessly — each person capturing their piece of the story, each angle contributing to the whole — was one of those “I built this” moments. The kind that stops you for a second and makes you really proud.
Clare and Andrew were a dream: warm, joyful, so present with each other. They gave us room to create, which is always the secret ingredient that takes a gallery or a film from beautiful to unforgettable.
This wedding wasn’t just another event on the calendar — it was proof of how far my brands have come, how strong my team is, and how much I love combining photography, videography, and film into one cohesive expression.
More days like this, please.
Big teams, big emotions, big skies — and big creative moments I’ll remember forever.
